1. BASIC DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Vehicle requirements
(Suggested, any terms to be decided by Unique in consultation with insurance) Vehicle must be 2012 or newer.
Vehicle must have 4 doors.
Vehicle shall have 4 to 8 seats, including the driver’s seat.
All seats in the vehicle must have working seatbelts.
Not titled as salvage, non-repairable, rebuilt or any other equivalent classification.
Vehicle may not be a taxicab, limousine, for hire vehicle or commercial vehicle pursuant to its title.
Vehicle may be inspected by UUN once every six (6) months
Driver requirements
All drivers shall have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Temporary or out-of-state licenses are also acceptable.
Drivers shall be 25 years of age or older.
Drivers must pass a driver screening, which reviews your driving history and criminal background check.
Drivers shall have a smartphone that can download and run the UUN app.
Driver shall not be deemed a commercial vehicle operator, a common carrier, a contract carrier, a motor carrier or a motor club.
Driver shall submit to UUN, within one (1) hour following the completion of a prearranged ride, an electronic receipt to UUN with a record of the origin and destination of the prearranged ride, the total time and distance of the prearranged ride and an itemization of the total fare paid, if any.
